Disney Village

thumb_IMG_9691 (2)_1024A couple of weeks ago my sister and I made our bi-annual trip to Disneyland Paris -in August for her Birthday, and January for mine – as well as America every other year – let’s just say we are obsessed with all things Disney!

The Summer trip usually consists of three days and two nights; starting bright and early at St Pancras station ready to board the Eurostar. On arrival we check into our hotel – this time the Dream Castle hotel, a Disney partner hotel – updated our travel hair, makeup and outfit, and off we went to the Disney Village.

It normally pans out the same way each trip; the first afternoon (as soon as we’ve checked into our hotel) is spent at Disney Village shopping and perusing the shops, having a Starbucks and taking in the atmosphere. At around 4pm, it’s back to the hotel for some chill. As the clock strikes 7pm, it’s time to update our appearance ready for an evening at the village for dinner, and cocktails at BillyBob’s Saloon. Going to Disney Village is completely free, so when I say three days at Disneyland, only one day is spent at the actual parks. Our favourite places to eat in the Village include The Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood, Annette’s Diner and Ludwigs Castle.

Here’s the outfit I wore that evening, paired with Sparkly Disney ears!

Long story short, the second day is Disneyland day, from early AM (with a big breakfast) to… early AM! My happy place, and my favourite place to be – best spent with my Sister! Day three consists of a lie in, a big breakfast, a Disney Village shop and lunch, and then back home via the Eurostar!

I’ve decided to only share photos of this evening, as sometimes I want to keep the memories for myself! Just imagine lots of happy faces, disney characters, rides, and nummy food!
