SHOP THE POST

Quite a Topshop heavy outfit today – this rarely happens any more! A few years ago maybe; but more often then not it’s a mixture of brands… not today I suppose!

Each item is pretty new in my wardrobe – sometimes all we want is a white slubby knitted jumper so when I saw this one I thought it was perfect. It’s easy to wear paired with trousers for a lazier day, but tucking it in and slightly ‘bagging’ it over really makes a difference and shows off more of the bottom half of the outfit. The bouclé A-line skirt is the pattern piece of this look; I felt it would be too plain without some sort of texture or pattern! This skirt has a matching jacket too – tempting!

I brought along a jacket just in case I felt a bit chilly (which I did) but that’s rare for me in London – I’m always hot! It’s a beautiful blush suede collared jacket – swoon!

Now; the boots. Once again, suede and slightly pointed with a mid block heel – definitely an everyday heel height! Or, if you’re like me – a ‘2 hour shoe’. My favourite part about the boots has to be the lace up sides – seen on the neckline of tops and dresses lately, it was only a matter of time before it would appear on a shoe – and suede? Such 70’s.

Thank you for looking! Do you ever end up wearing head to toe of just one brand?!

P.S Rupert’s jumper though? I just love him. Can you tell?!
