We all love a good at home pamper routine; so why not make it a luxury one? ‘Me time’ is essential if you’re feeling exhausted, rushed, run down or stressed – making more time for yourself will help clear your head and allow you time to just be, recharge and reset.
For me, one of my favourite indulgences is to have an at home spa session – a little touch of luxury to help me feel my best self. For my most recent find, let me introduce you to Ted Baker’s Porcelain Rose bath and body collection! Surely the packaging alone is enough to entice you?!
This summer, Ted Baker throws it back to the glamour and luxury of times passed; with the ultra-feminine Porcelain Rose bath and body collection – inspired by a trinket discovered at an auction in New York. The Porcelain Rose collection reimagines one of Ted’s signature floral prints as a trio of enchanting fragrances: Blush Pink, Pretty Pearl and Opulent Petal. Think romantic bouquets with luscious fruits, subtle spices and precious woods.
This soft-yet-impactful floral fragrance entwines subtle notes of cassis with sparkling grapefruit, mandarin and mango. The sensual heart blends neroli and jasmine with tuberose, cyclamen and muguet, while the base accord of patchouli, sandalwood and powdery musk completes the scent.
This fruity-floral fragrance begins with blushing red fruits and peach. The heart elegantly unfolds with notes of sweet violet, soft rose petals, patchouli and warm sandalwood. The scent is finished with an intense base of musk and raspberry leaf.
This sophisticated woody-floral fragrance opens with bright citrus and green notes of apple and violet leaf. The heart blends Arabian jasmine, orange blossom and fragrant ylang, melting into a base of silky vanilla, deep patchouli, spicy black pepper and just a hint of clove.
When I can, I prefer to enjoy my ‘me time’ in the morning – what a perfect way to start off the day! So, my routine to relax and unwind; first things first – transform your bathroom into a little solo spa. Light candles, set out your products, grab a book, and basically recreate those luxurious bath pictures you see on Pinterest! I run my bath and reach for one of my Blush Pink collection favourites; the bubble bath – it smells absolutely incredible, so floral and feminine and creates the most dreamy bubbles! If I’m after a real treat, I also pop in a pampered petal bath fizzer or two! After a bit of shut eye or a flick through a magazine, I use the Blush Pink fruity floral scented body wash, followed by a good old skin wake-up with the revitalizing body scrub. Then, when I feel like I’m about to enter my Hollywood movie set, I pop on my robe and move on to the next step of my routine!
The luxury doesn’t stop there – the Ted Baker body soufflé leaves my skin moisturized and smelling sweet all day – I just adore the scent! Once applied, I layer the scent with a spritz of the body spray; with notes of neroli, tuberose and powdery musk to ensure the fragrance lasts longer.
When it comes to a quick refresh on the go; these are actually two of my most used Ted Baker products from when I was first introduced to the brand as a teen – hand cream and lip balm! The hand cream leaves my hands feeling soft and hydrated, as well as smelling amazing – there’s something so feminine about hand cream, it’s so essential for me day to day! Then the lip balm – while many lip balms have graced my dressing table, this one wins hand down on glam factor! With a rose gold lid and a vanilla scent, you’ll have the perfect pout wherever you go.
If you are treating yourself or another, there are also some amazing sets and gifts available. I adore the ‘Little Luxuries‘ set, a trio of on the go essentials within a stunning cosmetic bag. All the gifts are packaged so beautifully, just look at the ‘Enchanting Treats’ floral vanity case containing hero products from the Blush Pink collection. Whatever you choose, the new Ted Baker Porcelain Rose collection really lets you experience ultimate at-home indulgence! What do you do for some ‘me time’?
